Qualifications:
Engineering Degree Preferably Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical & equivalent with minimum 7 to 12 years experience in relevant field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Fluent verbal and written English skills and able to communicate well.
-Experience with water treatment / steam distribution system
-Familiar with all OTSG different capacity
-Ability to develop and lead a team of operators and supervisors
-Analytical, problem solving, technically sound, and able to mentor with good leadership skills
-Adheres to all Health, Safety, and Environment rules and regulations at all times.
PURPOSE
To manage daily operations and give technical support for all process and maintenance in water treatment, steam generation and distribution system
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Build a highly skilled and action oriented operation team through mentoring and proper training
-Foster an atmospheric of technical and professional development that assures a team based environment
-Develop strategic plans to meet all targets through proper engineering and technical functions
-Accountable for small project management interfaces with the company to plan and develop strategic targets for all engineering and technical functions
-Assures the company is provided reliable process and equipment surveillance, process system analysis, root cause, failure analysis, accurate reporting and operations advice.
-Provides engineering support for management of change (MOC) including custodian of facility technical information (FTI)
-Maintain a high level of integrity for engineering and document control by ensuring compliance with KOC / HSE guidelines, industry standards and recommended practices
-Ensure safe operation and troubleshooting of OTSG, water plant
-Develop a team oriented work environment.
-Assure all HSE rules are followed as per KOC standard and conduct regular Safety Meetings.
-Assure accurate daily reporting of all Steam Data, Chemical consumption, Fuel consumption, and all daily records as per KOC Contract.
-Report all incidents or near misses as per procedure.
-Make immediate decisions when upsets occur and contact management if needed for further support and instruction to assure process safety and reliability.
