ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)
-Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 to 15 years experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas Projects.
-Gulf experience in EPC / Korean Companies preferred.
-Shall have a complete understanding of company issued Level 1 and 2 (ie., Plant / Unit wise schedules) and prepare the Level 3 (Equipment category wise) and Level 4 (Tag wise) plans in full compliance / adherence to the established Level 2 plans as discussed and agreed with COMPANY.
-The Level 3 and 4 plans and reports are to be generated using the P6 (Version/Rel.7) as per the Company’s Planning Engineer’s Instruction.
-The Level 4 plans are to be prepared with loading all the required Manpower / Equipment resources and the histograms are to be submitted to the Company’s review and approval.
-Review the entire work scope, identify and segregate the Pre-Turnaround and preparatory activities so as to maximize the pre-Turnaround work and optimize the work during Turnaround window.
-Discuss with all the concerned and finalize the Pre-Turnaround activities
-Prepare the Plans Vs. Actuals for both the pre-Turnaround and Turnaround jobs e.g., In case of piping jobs- prepare and report the S-curves for the piping pre-fabrication jobs and S-curves for the pipe Site/Field weld joints
-Ensures the mobilization of pre-Turnaround and Turnaround resources on site and report the deficiencies.
-Periodically re-visit the plans, assess the impacts on the resources requirements due to the Work scope changes, additional requirements/ IWL, changes in the Operational Plans / Turnaround schedules etc.,. and revise the plans and reassess the resource requirements as per the company’s requirements
-Evolve recovery plans in co-ordination with Company’s Planning team, quantify the additional manpower and equipment resources to overcome the slips
-Prepare specific reports as per the Company’s time to time requirements
-Ensures all the plans and progress updates remain auditable by the company’s Planning staff
-Review the CP and NCP listing (Critical and Near critical path equipment list) and ensure adequate allocation of resources for the safe and timely completion of all CP and NCP jobs in line with the Company requirements.
-Ensures all weightage provided is as per Company’s requirement.
-Ensure frequent communication with Planning Department.
-Ensures all Pre-Turnaround works are not part of the main progress reporting ‘S’ Curve.
-Ensures the manpower database information input into the entry/ exit system is as per the COMPANY standards.
-Ensures Daily Manpower Report from Electronic Entry /Exit system is reflected in the Daily Progress Report.
-Prepare Progress Reports and present the same to COMPANY in the daily progress meeting.
-Highlight all progress related concerns in the meeting.
-Ensure all additional works are pre-approved in the standard format before execution.
-Ensures the IWL in-charge along with the IWL Supervisors estimates all extra works and fills in the extra work pre-approval formats and approved before work execution.
-Ensures all works to be done using standard rates are quantified and approved before execution.
-Ensures all progress are discussed and agreed with Planning Department before submission of invoices.
-Handover his jobs his deputy with key instruction.
