ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)
-Degree in Engineering / Diploma in Industrial Safety with NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA Certification with minimum 10 to 15 years experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas Projects.
-Gulf experience in EPC / Korean Companies preferred.
-Finalize the HSE plan for Turnaround in consultation with TAR Dept. Manager and submit for the approval by COMPANY HSED Manager.
-Ensures all JSA/FRAs are prepared in line with the scope in coordination with all concerned departments.
-Ensure all JSA/FRAs are signed and distributed one month before Turnaround start date.
-Ensure all unit in-charges are fully aware of the JSA/FRA requirements at site and ensures all JSA/FRA requirements are available at site.
-Ensures PPE samples are approved by HSEFD.
-Ensure frequent communication with HSEFD and Planning Department.
-Ensures that his Safety Officer investigates all sub-standard condition, incident etc. and files the close out report on a daily basis.
-Ensures safety talks are given daily at site to all site workers.
-Ensures waste is managed properly and instructs his environmental officer to dispose waste to BeAAT as per COMPANY protocol.
-Must be aware of all COMPANY Control Procedures related to Safety and Environment.
-Ensures all plant and equipment mobilized to site has the required safety certification.
-Prepares audit check list for frequent site checks for Safety/Environment violations.
-Carries out periodic audits as per the audit checklist.
-Takes disciplinary action on personnel who repeatedly violates safety instructions.
-Ensures the emergency/first aid caravan is adequately equipped.
-Ensures crane with basket is available at location where Contractor entry permits are taken at work elevation above 40 miters. as agreed by COMPANY.
-Ensures Hygiene of the messing facility and adequate protection is available at Turnaround village.
-Ensures emergency drill is conducted for all site workers.
-Ensure route map is made and approved by COMPANY for truck entry/exit to the Contractors Turnaround laydown facility in consultation with the Rigging In-charge.
-Ensures all emergency assembly points are clearly marked out and communicated to his workforce.
-Ensure the availability of sufficient no. of the Hole watch and Fire watch who are qualified and certified by the 3rd party agency as per the contractual requirements. In case of confined jobs, identify and allocate the hole watch personnel in consultation with the Unit In-charges. Fill in the name of the Hole watch personnel and sign-off the Confined space entry permit.
-Handover his jobs his deputy with key instruction.
