Primary Purpose of the Services
Supervise and direct coating works carried out by call off contractor to achieve the required corrosion protection strategy at Refinery process plants and associated operational facilities located outside Refinery such as external pipelines to downstream customers and Berth. Provide all required support for coating maintenance services in accordance with Refinery operational and departmental requirements.
Summary of Major Duties and Responsibilities
-Site supervision for quality assurance and progress monitoring of contractor's work during planned shutdowns and Major Turnaround.
-Preparation of daily progress report for shut down related activities.
-Providing regular updates and reporting bottlenecks/problems.
-Physically fit to climb in scaffolding and enter inside equipment as required during major turn arounds and able to work at heights.
Education:
-Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 8 years relevant blasting and coating experience with 5 years in coating maintenance work in oil & gas industry.
-Certified with NACE level -2 or Equivalent.
Experience:
-Good written and spoken English with good communication and motivational skills including relevant project management experience.
-Familiar with NACE, SSPC, ISO standards for industrial coating.
-Proven experience in quantity surveying works for pipeline and equipment blasting and coating works.
-Knowledge of coating applicator prequalification and coating material prequalification requirement.
-Age limit:
-Not over the age of forty (40) years old.
