ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)
-Minimum 10 years experience with SHES related NVQ level 5 or equivalent (e.g. BSc); or Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma; or Postgraduate Degree (MSc).
-Develop and oversee implementation of IH Program Project activities at work site and workers Accommodation Camps.
-Ensure IH programs meet generally accepted IH standards of practice.
-Conduct annual program reviews of the program with the CCCT SMO and SHES Manager to ensure work site conditions and practices are adequately address in the Program and that suitable action is taken to address issues listed in the Health Risk Assessment.
-Conduct qualitative and/or quantitative exposure assessments per the approved IH monitoring schedule or when conditions warrant.
-Review monitoring documentation.
-Provide recommendations based on assessments.
-Develop annual exposure evaluation plans.
-Participate in Health Risk Assessments. Reviews Work Method Statements and JSA when required or when requested to do so.
-Participate in Incident investigations relating to Project and Camp Health issues.
-Assist in the evaluation of PPE related to toxic or harmful exposure to chemicals or other agents.
-Maintain adequate inventory of monitoring equipment and ensures equipment is properly calibrated per equipment manufacturer specification.
-Maintain close liaison with 3rd party laboratories for status of sampling results where applicable.
-Provide technical assistance and training to CCCT SHE Advisors to ensure health and sanitation issues are understood. Assist in the development of training materials when requested.
-Advices on sampling strategies and analytical techniques, uses Biological monitoring results/Analytical methods to complement sampling results to determine potential contaminants exposure of workers (identifying risk) and recommend controls.
-Investigate any unusual monitoring/biological monitoring results and provides written reports on same.
