Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the construction sector, foster strategic client relationships, and contribute to the company’s growth and market leadership by aligning business development efforts with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
-Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on construction and maintenance projects with Saudi Aramco and other key clients.
-Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets, aligning with company goals
-Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to secure long-term contracts.
-Lead proposal development and negotiations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and Aramco General Instructions (GIs) (Optional ).
-Analyze market trends and competitor activities to position the company competitively in the KSA construction sector.
-Collaborate with the estimation and project teams to ensure accurate bidding and successful project delivery.
-Promote local content initiatives, such as IKTVA compliance, by sourcing materials and services within KSA.
-Prepare and present business development reports to senior management.
-Oversee the prequalification process of the company with other Saudi Aramco affiliates to expand project opportunities (must).
Qualifications & Soft Competencies:
-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
-Minimum 10 years of business development experience in the construction and maintenance industry within KSA.
-Proven success in securing contracts with Saudi Aramco or similar large-scale clients.
-Strong knowledge of KSA construction market dynamics, including Aramco’s procurement processes and IKTVA requirements.
-Well versed in prequalification processes for Saudi Aramco affiliates.
-Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Proficiency in Arabic (must) and English, both written and spoken.
-Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
-Strategic planning and market analysis.
-Relationship management and networking.
-Financial acumen for budgeting and cost estimation (Optional).
-Familiarity with project management tools and CRM software (Optional).
-Adaptability to meet tight deadlines and handle high-pressure environments.
