ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)
-Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 to 10 years experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas Projects.
-Gulf experience in EPC / Korean Companies preferred.
-Should be familiar with material visual inspection, receiving, handling, storing, issuing and reconciliation.
-Ensures materials received from client is tagged and stored correctly in the Contractor materials container.
-Ensures right tools, plant and equipment are arranged to receive heavy spares and delicate spares.
-Ensures that the following information is immediately tagged or marked on the material.
-Work Order Number
-Equipment ID
-Item Number
-Develops clear procedure to issue material from contractor material container to site and return of unused materials from site to contractor material container.
-Ensures materials are issued to unit in-charge only.
-He will be held accountable for any violation in this regard.
-Ensures all materials received are store in identified location (Bin) within the container. These records shall be available in the container. Frequent audits will be done to ensure compliance.
-Forecasts requirements for storage space and facilities such as shelves, boxes, bins, timber pallets etc. and makes necessary preparations for receipt.
-Report any shortage or damaged materials at the time of issue from Company’s store.
-Checks that the storage and protection of materials are in accordance with specific requirements.
-He is accountable for any damage to and missing of COMPANY material.
-Ensure unused materials are returned along with the work order ref. through which the material was received.
-Final material reconciliation report to be issued.
-Certain critical spares like bigger spiral wound gaskets will be issued at the time of requirement only. This is based on COMPANY Engineer’s discretion.
-As far as possible, materials should not be disturbed from its packing till it is required in the site.
-Spiral wound gaskets of greater than 12” dia. should be properly wound with insulation tapes, to avoid unwinding of spiral coils.
-Separate material containers to be arranged for Gasoline and Condensate plant materials.
-To ensure that reserved materials are similar to the existing ones, especially for Heat Exchangers and Physical comparison and verification is done immediately on opening the vessel.
-Handover his jobs to the night shift in-charge with key instruction.
-Contractor should maintain a clear documentation of the following.
-Material drawn from COMPANY Stores.
-Material issued to the Unit-in-charge for the job.
-Unused Materials returned from the site.
-List of materials available at container at any point of time.
-List of materials available after Turnaround.
