Qualifications & Experience
-Diploma/ Degree in Electrical and electronic Engineering or related discipline
-Have minimum 05 years’ experience in Electrical Maintenance
-Have sufficient training in oil field electrical equipment and power generators
-Electrical Safety Regulations experience.
-HV /LV Switching training
-Participate on HV Isolation Authority
-PS & Battery systems
-Transformers (Step up/down) functionality, hypo test and maintenance.
-Artificial lift performance and optimization experience.
-Able to identify Protection schemes, Good knowledge in Variable Speed Drives
-Maintenance Management systems.
-Have experience on power generators working on gas driven and diesel driven engines
-Should have attended SAFETY courses
-Must be able to read and comprehend electrical parts books, service manuals, electrical drawings and technical literature
-Must have knowledge of standard electrical tools and safe working practices
Main Duties
-Understand the requirements set by the Company’s Process safety & HSE policies and comply with regulations in addition to electrical safety reference documents. So as not to cause harm to themselves or others, who are involved in their activities.
-Provide a high standard of personal example of HSE.
-Follow all safety, health and environmental policies of the Company at all times.
-Follow company quality system policies.
-Participate in all HSE Programs as and when called for.
-Ensure adherence to company’s HES rules & regulations
-Comply with Daleel’s PTW and PSM system role and responsibilities and contribute to their effectiveness.
-Understand the hazards associated with the task involved and implement controls in consultation with supervisors.
-Ensure that safety is maintained in work places
-Comply with all company Safety, Environmental and Health rules and regulations in addition to electrical safety reference documents.
-Obtain Competent Electrical Person Authorization (CEP) as per Daleel Electrical Safety Rules.
-Carry out routine maintenance in a safe and efficient manner.
-Assist and direct vendors during major equipment overhauls.
-Assist with monitoring and operating of Installation process and utilities equipment.
-Mentor and coach trainee technicians.
-Take an active role in safety improvement to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the Installation.
-Completion of planned and corrective maintenance activities, as directed by the maintenance supervisor and in line with the Installation plan.
-Maintain and improve plant safety and efficiency by carrying out:-Preventive maintenance and testing of equipment and control systems.
-Fault finding and repair of malfunctioning equipment and control systems.
-Excellent diagnostic and repair skills for complex problems in Electrical distribution systems.
-Capable of installing, troubleshooting, and repairing switchboard control panels and components, motor circuits, building and lighting circuits, and control circuits.
-Proposing modifications to equipment and control systems.
-Operate and carry out the safe isolation of power distribution of LV switch boards.
-Generate required Technical Reports.
-Proficient at reading electrical schematics.
-Proficient at using all test equipment associated with troubleshooting electrical equipment.
-Able to follow safe maintenance repair procedures and practices
-Able to recognize electrical equipment or component failure and repair
-Able to read and interpret schematics, drawings and technical manuals.
-Understand the hazards associated with the task involved and implement controls in consultation with supervisors.
-Team oriented, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision.
-Sufficient knowledge about EX/IP.
-Sufficient knowledge about RCA.
