Job Purpose
Drive/ Operate Articulated dumper truck in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Principal Accountabilities
-Must holding SAG Heavy Duty Driving License.
-Must know how to drive and operate the vehicle in order to meet company and project rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
-To drive the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the site specific requirements.
-Driver must aware how to position vehicle for loading and offloading area.
-To follow all site safety rules, including the wearing of PPE.
-Must be Perform duties with minimum supervision.
-Able to read equipment operating manual.
-Adaptability – Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
-Expendability – Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
-To carry out basic maintenance duties, including pre and post start checks as specified by your supervisor and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
-To keep the vehicle tidy.
-To accurately complete daily checkup, such as, Hydraulic oil, hydraulic houses, Fuel, as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
-Must hold Traffic Department License
-Good knowledge of driving/operating Articulated dump truck
-Good knowledge in traffic rules/ safe driving
-Able to determine the malfunctions.
-Good physical.
-Minimum of (5) years’ work experience as Heavy Duty Driver in all types of vehicle.
-Valid GCC license.
