ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)
-Degree in Engineering / Diploma in Industrial Safety with NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA Certification with minimum 5 to 10 years experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas Projects.
-Gulf experience in EPC / Korean Companies preferred.
-Ensure all Work Permit requirements are properly implemented,
-Ensure that contractors are using the appropriate PPEs' for the specified jobs.
-Conduct gas testing and train safety watchman in conducting gas test periodically etc.
-Ensures Safety Watches and Hole watches are aware of their job functions.
-Report substandard conditions and near misses.
-Closes out sub-standard conditions and incidents after taking corrective action and filing the close out report.
-Shall ensure that personnel working at worksite shall undergo safety induction training prior to commencement of SERVICES.
-Shall be properly orientated and certified by COMPANY and ensure safety at all times during performance of the SERVICES.
-Ensure that all his manpower should wear safety gear recommended and approved by COMPANY (e.g. Helmet, safety shoes, coveralls, safety belts, harness, safety glass and other equipment as required).
-Shall be adequately trained and be well equipped to provide first-aid for all sorts of accidents and medical emergencies during the whole duration of Turnaround.
-Shall ensure that his men are adequately equipped with various warning and caution sign boards (e.g. ‘Danger’, ‘Work in Progress’, etc.) to be used while working.
-Shall assist and co-ordinate with COMPANY to comply with requirements for safety and operation until the permit shall be obtained, in strict compliance with COMPANY procedure, each morning, before commencing work in the designated area. Site work permits shall be in accordance with COMPANY Safety/Security Regulations.
-Ensure compliance with all HSE and implementation of company system and procedure
-Identify all the job hazards along with site personnel
-Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and develop measures to assure personal safety.
-Participate in planning meetings to identify any health concerns.
-Attend morning field safety briefings in the area and assembly points to ensure safety plan was covered.
-Investigate accidents that have occurred within incident areas.
-Ensure safety rules, regulation and procedure are being complied at all times
-Stop any hazardous activities not complying with safety regulation and procedure
-Ensure first aid facilities are available on site
-Ensure Emergency Procedure are significantly displayed and known
-Ensure preventive action was taken to avoid repetition of non-conformance
-Prepare necessary safety report related to plant safety.
-Ensure clear and good housekeeping during the whole duration of Turnaround.
-Handover his jobs to the night shift in-charge with key instruction.
