Educational Qualification
Diploma in Electrical Engineering, ITI (Electrical) or equivalent with attested Certificates.
Experience
Minimum 8 (Diploma) or 10 (ITI) years and above of relevant experience in industrial field, 5 of them in Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP) / Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
Essential Requirements:-
-Provides supervision and technical support for the Installation, Testing, Troubleshooting and Repair activities for diesel and biogas generators, Transformers, Motors, 415V MLTB’s and MCC’s, 33kV GIS & 11kV SF6 & Vacuum SWGR’s, Battery Chargers, VFD’s , Soft Starters, UPS systems, AC and DCDB’s.
-Hands-on experience in electrical switching operations for low, medium and high voltage electrical systems.
-Hands-on experience to carry out all electrical preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
-Proficient in the use of Electronic multimeters, Clamp meters, Meggers, Earth testers, Infrared thermometers & other testing instruments.
-Supervisory skills to control and motivate a workforce of minimum number of 6 to 8 persons.
-Ability to read, interpret wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
-Good written and oral communication skills in English.
-Good knowledge of MS office.
-Willing to work off hours and weekends to support emergency issues.
-Good knowledge of HSE and QAQC requirements, electrical and mechanical Lockout & Tag out procedures, hazardous, confined spaces and explosive areas precautions.
