Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
-Minimum 15 years of experience in EHS in refinery/oil & gas/petrochemicals.
-At least 5 years in a similar role.
-Experience in ISO 18001 implementation and various aspects of HSE management systems.
-Qualification certificate attested by MOFA.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement contract-specific/job-specific HSE plans and training.
-Provide advice on all aspects of company HSE management systems, including work permits, confined space entry, isolation of hazardous energy, risk assessment, working at heights, incident reporting, emergency response procedures, motor vehicle safety, employee engagements, and audits & inspections.
-Prepare and submit the annual EHS plan of the contractor to the company.
-Coordinate with the company's EHS division and electrical maintenance division to enforce the health, safety, and environmental plan.
-Ensure compliance with all applicable company SOPs and take a proactive approach to implementing the EHS culture within the staff and workers.
-Submit monthly EHS reports to the company's EHS division.
-Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety meetings, prepare job safety analysis, and inspect the work site for hazards.
-Report and investigate near misses, incidents, and accidents, and take necessary steps to eliminate dangers and recurrence.
-Ensure proper waste disposal and environmental compliance, and maintain housekeeping at the work site.
